Talks and Speakers Register

Are you constantly looking for interesting speakers?

Are you responsible for finding interesting speakers to talk at events, such as meetings of a local history society, Probus club or WI? If so, NORAH can help. It has compiled a Talks and Speakers Register. The Register is an ever-increasing list of engaging experts on many different aspects of Norfolk’s history. The register is divided into a Talks List and a Speakers List. In order to book a talk please complete the Talk Request Form. This is a free service but NORAH does invite donations.

Who are the speakers

The speakers are either trustees of NORAH or volunteers offering their time to NORAH. Furthermore, they are experts in their field of interest and are wanting to share and engage with anyone interested in Norfolk’s past.

Content of talks

The titles in the NORAH Talks and Speakers Register aim to expand our collective knowledge of Norfolk’s past. In addition, they are usually based on research using Norfolk’s archives. The duration of most of the titles on the NORAH Talks and Speakers Register is approximately 45 minutes, but exact details of the talk can be discussed with the speaker before the event.

All the speakers give their time but do ask for a donation to be made to NORAH. The minimum suggested donation is £70. All donations support the work of NORAH.

Would you like to become a NORAH speaker?
